Report 41. Day 41. Sat, June 14. Sharon, Jerry and Shirley Visit a Dog Sled Demonstration.

I stayed home to recuperate while everybody else took the opportunity to watch a dog sled demonstration. Here are photos from their trip. First, before the demonstration. {These dogs are actually used in the winter time to patrol the park. It is designated as a "wilderness" area and no motorized vehicles can be used, even by the rangers. They patrol a 90 mile path with ranger cabins every 10 miles to break. The dogs are born, raised and trained here and love to pull the sled. Thesse demonstrations give them a chance to exercise and keep in shape. We could pet them all, even the ones in "cages" that they say are there "because some of them eat rocks" ??}

And after the demo.

They return to the trailer, and later we head out for dinner.

That's it for today. Cheers to ya,
Bob and Sharon
