Report 62. Day 62. Sat, July 5. Home.

A pretty straighforward day. Love to see the golden California hills with their oak trees scatter. As we approach the Carquinez Strait Bridge, I notice the mothballed ship fleet, leftovers from previous wars. {This is always the way we would go to our friend Nancy's house when she lived in Napa. Makes me miss her but love visiting her in Texas.}

And we can see the bridge itself on our left. This is the free direction.

We see the familiar "Do You Know the Way To San Jose" sign.

About an hour later, we approach the exit sign to Bernal Road from Highway 101. Nearly there. Then down Avenida Grande, the main artery going through our neighborhood. It's seven streets to Via Romera, where we will turn left.

And folks, I am grateful for an uneventful day, which delivered us safely home. {I am always surprised to see the street after being gone for so long. I guess I expect it to look changed somehow. But I'm glad it looks the same. HOME!!!!}

So long till next time. I hope you got some enjoyment from these travel reports. Thanks for listening.

All the Best,
Bob and Sharon
